2月28日,＂全国文明城市＂的桂冠再次花落烟台,成功实现四连冠。这是羊年新春伊始烟台烟台市收获的又一枚沉甸甸的奖牌。这枚奖牌,不仅是对这座城市努力的肯定,也是对生活在这座城市里的人的诚意褒奖。

On Feb.28 the National Conference on the Work of Cultural and Ethical Progress & Learning From Lei Feng Volunteering Service Conference was held in Beijing.Jinping Xi,General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.President of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of CPC Central Military Commission cordially met the advanced representatives of the 4th National Civilized City,Civilized Towns and Villages.Civilized Units and Juvenile Ideological and Ethical Development.Yunshan Liu.Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress attended the award-issuing conference and made a speech.Yandong Liu,Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,Vice Premier of the State Council and Deputy Director of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress;and Qibao Liu,Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee,Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Director of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress were also at present.After the reexamination and confirmation of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress,Yantai maintained its honorary title of 'National Civilized City' and was praised in the conference.This suggested the notable achievements of Yantai in developing the national civilized city,through which it realized its aim of keeping this title for a succession of four years.Jiangting Zhang.Mayor of Yantai and Director of the Municipal Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress attended the award-issuing conference.
