Rickettsia raoultii, which belongs to spotted fever group Rickettsia (SFGR), is an emerging causative agent of calp eschar and neck lymphadenopathy (SENLAT), and mainly founded in Europe and Asia. R. raoultii is mainly transmitted by ticks and high prevalence in Derrnacentor spp. and the average level is up to 47.74%. R. raoultii have been detected in ticks collected from Jilin, Heilongjiang, Tibet, Xinjiang, and Gansu provinces in China. In this paper, we reviewed the geographic distribution, hio-vector, medical importance, and molecular biology of R. raoultii.
