Having all live in a better, more peaceful world has long been a dream of Kofi Annan, both during his 10-year service as secretary general of the UN and now, as chairman of the Kofi Annan Foundation. For this, Annan and the UN won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2001. To ＂make our wodd more har- monious, people-to-people understanding and cooperation is extremely important,＂ Annan told Beijing Review. ＂We often forget that there＇s more that unites us than divides us,＂ he said.
