Cultural Construction and the Shape of City Image of Baotou

城市形象塑造是当前城市化进程中一个重要课题,是现代文明城市竞争的焦点。本文认为,城市形象的塑造不仅局限在马路、高楼大厦等物质形态的共性建设上,应以挖掘和培育城市的文化特色等软环境建设为重点,从而塑造出鲜明、独特、充满个性的现代城市形象。

The shape of city image is an important issue in the current process of urbanization and the focus of competition modern civilized cities.This paper believes the shape of city image is not limited to the construction of roads and high rise buildings.It should emphasize the construction of the soft environment by building the cultural characteristics,thus shaping a vivid,special and individualized modern city image.
