摘要
乔纳森·弗兰岑的现实主义小说《自由》塑造了以女主人公帕蒂为典型代表的人物形象,体现了现代社会规训权力的运行机制及女主人公在现代社会中被规训的生存状态,揭示现代人因受到来自四面八方的权力规训而缺少真正自由的本质。
Jonathan Franzen＇s realistic novel Freedom creates the typical character,Patty and shows the operating mechanism of modern social disciplinary power and Patty＇s life under the disciplinary power. Also the novel reveals the fact that modern people have lost their real freedom under the disciplinary power from all directions.
