河磨玉是籽料的一种,是中国岫岩产的透闪石质玉石籽料,因其出产于当地的河中或河附近的河床而得名,由于产量很少,所以近年来价格上涨明显,成为收藏的热门玉种。因为河磨料中含有透闪石成分,所以按目前的国家鉴定标准,河磨玉鉴定的时候可以鉴定为和田玉,（目前的国标把含有透闪石成分的玉石统称为和田玉）。因为含有大量的透闪石成分,所以河磨料的油润度非常好,质地细腻温润。
