《国语》是司马迁写作《史记》所重点依据的史书,《国语》的史料素材,对《史记》具有史源性的价值和意义。《史记》对《国语》的援据、采用,主要有采用、关涉、未用三种情况,常用"取事约辞"或"取事弃辞"等办法予以改写或改造。《国语》的"观人法"和对人物"为人"的关注,在《史记》中得到了传承。

Discourse of the States is the important history book for Sima Qian to write Historical Records. The historical materials in it is significant and valuable for Historical Records. There are mainly three kinds of the quotations and adoptions from Discourse of the States,namely,the materials adopted,related and unused. The rewriting and revision are often based on'Yueci'and'Qici'. The'observation'and the concern of'person's performance'in Discourse of the States are inherited in Historical Records.
