The paper summarized the burden distribution of the No. 8 blast furnace at Hangang. Through optimizing the program and parameters for the burden distribution, detailing the equipment and feeding management, the burden line, α angle, β angle and the total numbers of burden distribution coils can be accurately achieved, which offers the conditions for stabilizing the BF airflow, smoothly running of the BF, increasing the gas utilization rate and decreasing the fuel ratio.
