张謇故居、祖宅及其“状元府”之实地历史考察

The Historical Survey on Zhang Qian's Former Residence,Ancestral House,and his“House for Number One Scholar”

一个人在一地出生之后他从不迁徙别处而是在其诞生地生活一辈子并且终老该地,此种情况在中国古代确是有的,而且还屡见不鲜,但是随着时代的不断演进,此种情况却会愈益减少,迨至近现代时则已是凤毛麟角、难得一见了。正是基此原因,如果我们谈到清季南通州光绪甲午状元张謇的故居、祖宅及其"状元府"等诸问题,就绝不可道听途说、人云亦云,而必须进行认真的谱牒资料研究再结合实地历史考察,否则我们就不可能弄清问题和得到正确的答案。

After a man is born,he never moves to other places,but lives in his birthplace all his life and then dies there.This case is very common in ancient China.However,with the evolution of the times,this case is increasingly reduced,and becomes rare to be seen until the modern times.For this reason,we must not just hear it from grapevine,or follow others＇ words,when talking about the former residence,ancestral house,and his ＂house for the number one scholar＂,or other issues about Zhang Qian in Nantongzhou during Guangxu Emperor years.We must make a combination of careful researches on genealogy and historical survey.Otherwise,we cannot figure out the problems and get the right answers.
