胃癌前病变是一个病理学概念,通常包括肠上皮化生和异型增生,是正常胃黏膜向胃癌转化过程中的一个重要阶段。胃癌前病变的干预是胃癌防治研究的关键领域,现代医学对胃癌前病变的研究取得了一定的成果,但尚未显示有突破性进展。众多的临床报道证实,中医药对治疗胃癌前病变具有优势性疗效,能够在改善患者的临床症状的同时,使部分肠上皮化生和异性增生减轻甚至消失,改变了胃癌前病变难以逆转的传统观点,使胃癌的二级预防成为可能。

Gastric precancerous lesions,being a pathological concept,included intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia,and it was an important stage of the transformation from normal gastric mucosa to gastric cancer. Intervention of gastric precancerous lesions was the main area of gastric cancer prevention study. Modern medicine has made certain progress on the study of the precancerous lesions of gastric cancer,but it has not shown any breakthroughs. Many clinical studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine has advantageous effect on gastric precancerous lesions. It can improve the clinical symptoms of patients,while reducing and even evanishing the intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment has changed the traditional view that the reversal of gastric precancerous lesions is difficult,making the secondary prevention of gastric cancer possible.
