Application of the Short-term Memory Training in English Listening Teaching

听力是英语语言交际能力的基础,加强短期记忆训练,克服短期记忆的认知局限,是提高学生听力能力的关键之一。本文主要分析了英语听力理解的特点及其与记忆结构的关系,最后就如何加强短期记忆训练提升英语听力教学效果展开了探讨并提出了一些建议。

Listening ability is the foundation of English language communication, and one of the keys to improve that is to strengthen the short-term memory training, and overcome the cognitive limitations of short-term memory. This paper mainly analyses the characteristics of English listening comprehension and its relationship with memory structure, discusses how to strengthen the short-term memory training and puts forward some suggestions to improve the effect of English listening teaching.
