In the light of the connotation of uncertain information the author has expounded the conception of uncertain information, and made a full analysis of the mathematical expression and the immanent affiliation of the uncertain information, now known by people, which includes random information, fuzzy information, unascertained information, grey information and universal grey information so as to establish the basic frame for the systematic theory of uncertain information.
