首先,从不同学科的视角阐述了城镇化的概念;其次,在描述了国外城镇化主要发展模式的基础上,分析了我国农村城镇化发展过程中存在的问题;最后,通过借鉴国外城镇化发展的模式,提出了促进我国农村城镇化发展的思路。
