What Can We Learn from the Text Consulting Service Used in American Libraries for the Teenage

美国图书馆与信息学科研究人员在青少年中开展了一项焦点团体访谈,旨在探讨青少年手机用户是否愿意使用图书馆短信咨询服务而从中受益。我国图书馆可以学习和借鉴该研究模式,收集青少年对图书馆开展的相关信息咨询服务的想法和建议,为完善中国数字化信息咨询服务提供可靠的数据,探索出有自己特色的数字参考咨询之路,从而加强青少年获知信息过程中图书馆的作用,并与他们建立一种积极而持续的关系。

In order to investigate how the teenager, who use mobile phone, wish to and benefit from using library text reference service, the American libraries and informatic researchers performed an interview on special group in the youngster. Our libraries should learn from this research model, and collect the opinions and suggestions of the young about the information consulting service performed by libraries. It will be useful to provide reliable data for improving national digital informatic consulting service by learning from the advanced model, subsequently to explore premium digital consulting service. On the other hand, it will be helpful to reveal the importance of library, since to build a positive and lasting linkage between the young and library.
