通俗小说历来被文人士大夫阶级视为不登大雅之堂的文学作品,因此官方并不重视对通俗小说的著录,目录学史上缺乏专门著录通俗小说的专科目录。然而到了近代,自二十世纪二三十年代始,经过历代学者不懈努力,直至孙楷第先生,中国通俗小说的专科目录正式形成,即孙恺第先生所编辑的《中国通俗小说书目》。文章将首先探讨孙先生之前,对于通俗小说的著录情况;其次,浅析《中国通俗小说书目》在著录通俗小说书目方法上的继承和创新;最后,简略分析孙楷第以及他的《中国通俗小说书目》在目录学学术和目录学史层面的地位。

Pspular fiction has been the literati class as a literary works of the not appeal,there fore the official not to the description of popular novers,the bibliography lacks specific description of popular novers in the history of specialist directory.In modern times,hoverver since the thirties of the 20th century,throngh unremitting efforts,all previons dynasties scholars until Mr Sunkaidi, formal formation of China＇s popular novels directory,both Sun kaidi,for the description in the way that popular fiction books inheritance and mnon the history of academic and bibliography level position.
