This paper presents the flexible application of tacit knowledge in the inheritance of Xi＇an Drum Music, a recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and performs an in - depth analysis of the explicitation methods of such knowledge. It aims to draw further attention of the Chinese Tradition Music scholars to CTM tacit knowledge, so that it can be preserved and passed on in the original form more effectively.
