A Tentative Discussion on the Educational Logic of the “Home Schooling”

随着社会的进步与发展,人们对教育的诉求越来越多元化。在传统的学校教育之外,家长们一直在探寻更适合他们下一代的教育方式,一种新的教育形式——"在家上学"逐渐走进了人们的视野。与传统学校教育相比,在家上学既有进步的一面,同时也面临着许多问题和争议。

With the development of the society , people＆#39;s demands for education are getting more and more diversified . Apart from school education as one of the traditional education methods , parents are seeking for a form of education more fit for their children , and then “home schooling” is coming into being .Compared with the traditional school education , home schooling does have lots of advantages . Meanwhile ,it is without problems and controversies .In this paper ,a description of the background and the current status of “home schooling” is given first , and then follow s an analysis of its potential challenges and weaknesses . Finally ,a reflection is made on traditional school education with reference to the characteristics of the home schooling .
