社区参与防沙治沙的重要性

The Importance of Community Participation in Prevention and Control of Desertification

青海省沙化土地属于高寒沙化土地类型区,区内海拔高、干旱、风大、光照强,地广人稀。由于高寒与干旱共同作用,生态极其脆弱,植被一旦破坏极难恢复。应鼓励社区参与防沙治沙,并给予社区资金和技术支持用于自发开展防沙治沙活动。

Desertification land in Qinghai Province belongs to cold desertification land types/area, high altitude, arid ,windy, strong light, sparsely populated in the area. By both cold and drought, ecosystem is fragile,once the vegetation destruction extremely difficult to restore. Community should be encouraged to partici- pate in preventing and controlling desertification and support community with financial and technical support.
