Family Income,Number of Minor Children and Urban Family Education Investment

使用901个城市家庭的样本讨论家庭收入和未成年子女数量对家庭教育投资的影响,发现未成年子女数量与子女人均家庭教育投资水平负相关;家庭主事者受教育程度越高,对子女教育投资越大。家庭年收入水平在本研究中未对家庭教育投资水平产生显著影响。

Using 901 samples from urban households, this paper mainly discusses the influence on family edu- cation investment which is caused by family income and the number of minor children. This paper finds that there is negative correlation between the number of the minor children and family education investment levels. It also finds that the higher education level of the most important member of the family, the more investment into the children＇ s education. The annual household income level in this study does not have a significant impact on family education investment level
