摘要
多元文化教育是文化多样性国家教育的重要特征之一。英国是一个多民族、多元文化社会,二战后大量移民的迁入改变了英国的社会结构。英国多元文化社会结构的形成深刻影响了英国的教育,进而对教师教育如何回应多元文化提出了相应的诉求。英国教师教育对多元文化的回应体现为英国政府出台的一系列政策法案。在多元文化教育的背景下,英国的教师教育标准作了调整,以适应多元文化教育对教师的要求;教师语言能力的要求也随之提高,教师的教育模式也开始注重多元文化知识、技能与情感的渗透,以促进教师的多元文化参与。
Multicultural education is an important feature of the education in the country of diversified cultures.Britain is a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic society.After World War II,a large number of immigrants have changed the social structure of Britain.The formation of the British multicultural so-cial structure has a profound impact on British education,which requires teacher education to respond to it.Response of teacher education in the UK for cultural diversity includes a series of policies and acts issued by British government.In the multicultural context,the British teacher education stand-ards have been adj usted to meet the requirements of multicultural education,as well as higher require-ments proposed to teachers'language ability and to emphasize the infiltration of multicultural knowl-edge,skills and emotion about teaching mode to promote teachers'multicultural participation.
