汉语官话发展史研究的力作——评晁瑞《〈醒世姻缘传〉方言词历史演变研究》

A Monumental Work of Chinese Mandarin History: Comment on Chao Rui's monograph entitled A Study on the History of the dialect words in Xingshi Yinyuan Zhuan

汉语官话发展研究一直是近代汉语研究的重要课题。《〈醒世姻缘传〉方言词历史演变研究》以《醒世姻缘传》908个方言词为蓝本,佐证以同时期的近代汉语语言资料,全面考察了相关方言词的历史来源与发展,得出了诸多重要论断:少数民族语言对汉语影响甚微、南京话对汉语通语发展贡献卓著、南系官话促使明代汉语迅速回归、明末清初南北官话接触合流。因此,该书无论是在近代汉语方言研究方面,还是汉语官话发展史方面均具有重要的学术价值。

The research on the history of Mandarin has always been an important subject of modern Chinese research. Based upon the analysis of 908 dialect words used in Xingshi Yinyuan Zhuan （《醒世姻缘传》） , Chao Rui’ s monograph entitled A Study on the History of the dialect words in Xingshi Yinyuan Zhuan makes a comprehensive survey of the history of the dialects used in Xingshi Yinyuan Zhuan, offers rich linguistic data of modern Chinese, holds the contention that： the minority languages has been influenced Chinese little; Nanjing Dialect has made a great contribution the development of Chinese Mandarin; Southern Mandarin has promoted the regression of Ming Chinese, and the integration of Chinese Mandarins between the northern and the southern in the period from late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Ming Dynasty. Therefore, the book is of great important academic value not only in terms of the study of modern Chinese dialects, but also in the history of Chinese Mandarin.
