In postmodern art research the resurgence of the theory of the end is not a novelty but can be traced to Hegel.Art is kidnapped by political rationality, terminated by philosophical ideals and subverted by pessimism.In order to escape the fate of the said kidnap, termination and subversion and break out of the spell of the theory of＂end of art＂, the most impor-tant thing is to know what constitutes good art and what are the criteria for it.
