Is Reading Music Scores the Core Misson of the National Music Education?——Reflections after Reading DU Ya-xiong's "Reading Music Scores Should Be the Core Mission of the National Music Education"

文学与艺术的关系一直密不可分。杜亚雄先生在《识谱应成为国民音乐教育的核心任务》一文中,借鉴了文字之于文学的关系,论述了识谱教学的重要性。本文认为,文字与乐谱不具有可比性,识谱只是属于技能教学中的一个知识点,不足以上升成为音乐教育的核心。音乐教育的核心,终将回归到音乐的本质和人的本质上来。

Throughout the ages literature and art have always been inseparable.In his article Reading Music Scores Should Be the Core Mission of the National Music Education, Mr.Du Yaxiong draws on the relationship between the written lan-guage and literature to discuss the importance of teaching the reading of music scores.But this paper argues that the music score is not comparable to the written language in that reading music scores is just one of the skills taught, not the core of music education.It is on the nature of music and man himself that the core misson of music education ultimately focuses.
