Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of digital acupoint pressure of Ren and Du and acupoint application treating insomnia of stagnation of liver-qi transforming into heat. Methods: 96 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 48 cases in each group, treatment group adopted digital acupoint pressure of Ren and Du and aeupoint application, control group treated with routine western medicine, the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and modified SPIEGEL scale score of two groups were compared after 2 months, Results: The total effective rate of treatment group was 89.58%, significantly higher than that of control group by 72.92% (P〈0.05); PSQI and modified SPIEGEL scale score of the two groups after treatment were significantly better than those before treatment (P〈0.05), and treatment group better than control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion: The efficacy of digital acupoint pressure of Ran and Du and aeupoint application treating insomnia of stagnation of liver-qi transforming into heat is significant.
