Through analysis of coal-water slurry preparation process, the operating principle and advantages and disadvantages of the ball mill and the rod mill are introduced. Through practical case studies, the improvement methods for parameters match and operation conditions of rod mill are explained, and ideas for continuing improvement of coal mill and research and development of segmented grinding are proposed.
