On the Consideration of Wittgenstein Encountering Chinese Characters

按照前期维特根斯坦的观点,意义的实现方式在语言中体现为词的连接方式,即句子的结构。但面对传统汉语写作,这种观念却显得有些水土不服,因为汉语写作有时并不依靠词的连接方式,而是依赖意象叠加所营造的画面呈现意义,这种写作方式与汉字思维有着密不可分的联系。

In his former life,Wittgenstein thinks that the meaning of implementation are embodied in the connection of words in the language,that is,the structure of the sentence. But in the face of the traditional Chinese writing,this kind of idea is not appropriate because the connecting way of Chinese writing sometimes does not rely on words,but rather on overlaying images which can create the present meaning and this kind of writing has close connection with thinking of Chinese characters.
