A Practice-based Exploration on College English Based on "Excellence Initiative"

随着我国教育体制改革的逐渐深入,在《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》的指导下,以提高学生的工程实践能力、培养造就一批适应经济社会发展需要的卓越工程师后备人才为目标的卓越工程师教育培养计划顺利开展,在这一卓越计划活动中大学英语教学活动成为提高学生专业知识学习能力,促进学生全面发展的重要途径。

With the continuous deepening of education system re-form in China, guided by ＆quot;National Plan for Medium-and Long-term Education Reform and Development （2010-2020）＆quot;, the excellent engineers education and training initiative has been successfully implemented in order to improve students＆#39; engineer-ing and practice ability, and cultivate a batch of excellent reserve engineers that meet the need of economic and social develop-ment. In the initiative, college English teaching has become an important approach to improve students＆#39; ability of learning pro-fessional knowledge and promote their comprehensive develop-ment.
