摘要
徐丹这组最新创作的色粉系列作品是不能仅仅被当做“静物画”来看待的,因为它表现的不仅是器物本身的物质性,更为重要的是那些附着在这种物质性基础之上的文化和历史内涵,才是徐丹着力需要表现的对象。所以,与其说徐丹将这些历经了世事沧桑的老物件作为“客观”的再现对象。不如说他是在试图赋予这些无生命的“物”以生命,并进而将之作为表现自己主观情感和文化态度的一种依托载体。
atest pigment works by Xu Dan should not be regarded as still lifes, as it does not only reflect physical property of objects, but more importantly he endeavors to highlight their cultural and historical content based on the property. Therefore, instead of regarding his profoundly tested objects as objectively reproduction, it is better to say that he is trying to animate these lifeless objects, or media to convey his subjective emotions and cultural attitudes.
