调节剂丁存在下的乳聚苯乙烯可控/“活性”聚合

Study on controlled emulsion polymerization of styrene in the presence of isopropylxanthic disulfide

摘要 研究了调节剂丁(连二异丙基黄原酸酯,DIP)对苯乙烯乳液聚合的影响。通过核磁共振氢谱(1 H-NMR)、凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)、动态光散射仪(DLS)对聚合物进行了分析。结果表明,使用DIP作为链转移剂,对乳聚苯乙烯的相对分子质量调控作用明显,随着DIP用量的增加,聚苯乙烯相对分子质量逐渐降低,并呈现出可控/"活性"聚合的特征,DIP浓度增加,聚合速率略有下降,乳胶粒粒径下降。 The emulsion polymerization of styrene mediated by isopropylxanthic disulfide(DIP)was investigated using potassium persulfate(KPS)as initiator.The analysis results by using ^1H NMR,gel permeation chromatography(GPC)and dynamic light scattering(DLS)showed that the DIP could control the molecule weight of polystyrene obviously.The molecule weight of polystyrene decreased with increasing of DIPamount in the system.Moreover,the process of the polymerization showed the feature of controlled/ "living"polymerization.In addition,the DIP had little effect on the rate of the polymerization.
