从“封闭阅读”到“感悟”参与——“文本细读”在中国的误读

From the“Closed Reading”to“Perception”——The Misreading of the“Close Reading”in China

"文本细读"是"新批评"的批评家们采用的一种重要的批评方法。这一批评方法在中国文学批评语境产生误读:中国学者一方面将"文本细读"错误地解读为"封闭阅读"和"关注细节";另一方面,创造性地将"感悟"参与到"文本细读"中来。同时,由于受到文化研究的影响,"文本细读"在中国语境中已溢出了"新批评"的界定,演变为一种与外在的社会历史文化语境结合起来的细读方式。

The ＂close reading＂ is an important critical method of the New Criticism. However this method has been misread in the context of literary criticism in China. On the one hand, many Chinese scholars misreads the ＂close reading＂ as ＂closed reading＂ or ＂pay attention to details＂. On the other hand, they creatively incorporate ＂perception＂ into the ＂close reading＂. In the meanwhile, ＂close reading＂ has crossed the boundary of New Criticism under the influence of cultural study and evolved into a method of close reading which is combined with external social historical and cultural context.
