摘要
作为异质文明语境中的两部作品,沈从文的《边城》与乔治·桑的《瓦朗蒂娜》在人物形象、书写主题和叙事视角等方面存在相似之处,但是在写作意图、主题意义等方面又存在明显的差异。对这两部作品进行平行研究,通过对其求同辨异的研究,不仅可以剖析两位作家的所处的时代背景、民族文化心理结构和性别意识对于作家创作产生的影响,而且可以促进异质文明文化之间的对话和交流,从而进一步推动两位作家的学术研究。
