Status of the insulin injection in the patients with diabetes in the community and its nursing intervention

糖尿病是以高血糖为主要特点的全身代谢性疾病。随着人民生活水平的提高和老龄化进程的加速,糖尿病的患病率日趋增加。糖尿病病程隐匿,可引起多种并发症,需终身治疗,严重影响人们的生活质量。胰岛素治疗糖尿病已成为控制病情、减少或延缓并发症发生的有效手段。通过社区护理干预,使患者掌握糖尿病及并发症的基础知识和居家注射胰岛素的技能,能帮助患者提高生活质量。

Diabetes is a systemic metabolic disease with high blood glucose as the main characteristics. With the improvement of the people＇s living standard and acceleration of the ageing process, its prevalence rate is increasing. The course of diabetes is occult and it can cause a variety of complications which need the treatment throughout the life and seriously affect the people＇s quality of life. The insulin treatment of diabetes has become the effective means to control the condition and reduce or delay the occurrence of complications. Through the community nursing intervention, the patients are made to master the basic knowledge of the diabetes and its complication and the skill of the insulin injection at home to help the patients improve their life quality.
