The spinning principle of polyester DTY core spun yarn was introduced. The yarn structure, spinning method and process parameters were analyzed. The cotton/Tencel and polyester DTY core-spun yarn for denim were developed through the trans- formation of the spinning machine. The improvement measures of the yarn quality were discussed.
