The gourd pattern was the artistic plant and widely applied in traditional garments as its graceful shape and auspicious implied meaning. The application of the gourd pattern as point, line, surface and overall in traditional garments was analyzed from the aspects of stereoscopic composition. The research provided a reference for the design and application of gourd pattern in modern gar- ments.
