An Analysis of On-the-spot IELTS Speaking Test-taking Strategies

雅思考试是由英国剑桥大学考试委员会、英国文化协会和澳大利亚IDP教育集团共同设计主办的国际性标准化英语水平测试。国内外研究数据表明,雅思口语单项测试一直是中国大陆考生的软肋。本文从临场应试的角度,针对口语测试的每一部分特点给考生们提供一些相应的对策,希望能够帮助广大考生们提高雅思口语测试的成绩。

The International English Language Testing System（IELTS）, organized by Cambridge ESOL, British Council and IDP Education Australia, is an international standard test of English proficiency. According to previous studies, mainland Chinese test takers＇ average performance in speaking test is unsatisfactory. In terms of the features of IELTS speaking test parts, this paper aims to provide some on-the-spot test-taking strategies for test takers,so that they can achieve better examination scores.
