Cutaneous Safety Test of External Piyanling Liniment

目的观察皮炎灵搽剂外用是否产生皮肤急性毒性反应、刺激反应和过敏反应,为临床安全用药提供依据。方法将皮炎灵搽剂用于家兔背部完整和破损皮肤,观察其产生的急性毒性反应情况。将皮炎灵搽剂单次和多次用于豚鼠完整及破损皮肤,采用同体左右侧对比,观察其产生的刺激反应;采用皮肤过敏试验,观察其产生的过敏反应情况。结果皮炎灵搽剂未见急性毒性反应,反复致敏后未见过敏反应。对豚鼠正常皮肤无刺激性,对破损皮肤有轻微刺激性。结论皮炎灵搽剂对完整皮肤安全性较好,对破损皮肤有轻微刺激性,破损皮肤避免使用。

Objective To observe the effect of Piyanling liniment for external use on the acute toxicity response, stimulus and allergic reactions of the skin in order to provide a scientific basis for safe and reasonable medication. Methods Piyanling liniment was smeared once or repeatedly on the normal and damaged skin of rabbits before the acute toxicity reactions were observed. The left side of a Guinea pig＇s skin was compared with the right side while irritation reactions were observed. Using cutaneous hypersensitivity test, Guinea pig＇s skin allergy was observed. Results Piyanling liniment resulted in no acute toxicity and no systemic allergic reactions after repeated sensitization. It produced no skin irritation on the normal skin of a guinea pig, but with slight irritation on the damaged skin. Conclusion Piyanling liniment is safer for the normal skin, but a little irritating to the damaged skin. This drug should not be used on the damaged skin.
