志书索引类型刍议

My Humble Opinions on the Types of Local Records Indexes

计算机的出现和互联网的广泛运用,改变了人们储存资料、传播资料、获取信息和阅读文本的方式,使人们的阅读习惯发生了很大改变,其中一些变化对地方志的文化形式产生了不同程度的影响。志书应通过知识扩展实现资料可用性的最大化,知识扩展的简单模式是由某种或某类文献的专门索引完成的。因此,实现志书知识扩展,除了提高文献内容索引的质量,还必须编制检索情报源的索引,包括参考文献索引与地方文献联合目录索引,而编制地方文献联合目录索引,应厘清地方文献的概念,以及提出编制地方文献联合目录索引的理论依据。

The invention of computers and the wide application of Internet foundamentally changed the way people store and disseminate data,obtain information,and read texts,and greatly changed people's reading habits.Some of these changes had implications of different degrees on the cultural forms of local records.Local records should realize maximization of information usability through knowledge expansion,the simple mode of which is realized through special index of certain type or category of documentations.Therefore,in order to realize local records knowledge expansion,apart from improving the quality of documentation contents indexes,we must compile indexes for information sources retrieval,including references indexes and indexes of local documentation with consolidated catalogue indexes.The compilation of local documentation with consolidated catalogue indexes requires the clarification of the concept of local documentation and the theoretical basis of consolidated catalogue indexes compilation.
