民族主义关怀下的方志纂修——以晚清民国时期东北方志为例

Local Records Compilation under the Solicitude of Nationalism-A Case Study of Local Records in the Northeastern Area during the Late Qing Dynasty and Republican Period

晚清民国时期,东北形势骤紧,门户洞开。加强边防,增强经济实力,完善教育,提高国家竞争力等系列政策的实施,在弱肉强食、优胜劣汰的背景下显得尤为重要。在高涨的民族主义氛围中,方志纂修也成为这一时期极为重要的措施之一,但此时方志已不仅仅具有资治、教化、存史等一般意义上的功能,其浓厚而悲怆的爱国主义情感的宣扬,以及在内容记载方面有意识的选择与描述,使方志编修在关注社会现实的背景中,成为警醒民众、奋发图强的一面高扬的爱国旗帜。

During the late Qing Dynasty and Republican Period,situation in northeastern area suddenly became tense but gates in the border region still remained open.The implementation of a series of policies such as strengthening border defence,improving economic power,strengthening education,and improving national competitiveness appeared to be particularly important under the background of jungle justice and survival of the fittest.In the atmosphere of surging nationalism,local records compilation became one of the most important measures during this period.Yet,local records at the time were not just local records that carried the functions of providing references for governance,educating the public,and preserving history in the ordinary sense,but a patriotic banner flying high to awaken the public to strive to be stronger under the background of growing attention to social reality in the course of local records compilation,which led to grave and tragic promotion of patriotic passion and intentional selection and descriptions in terms of content recordings.
