Research on Oversea Investment of Residents along the Border Area

2013年11月21日中国人民银行、国家外汇管理局等十一个部委联合印发了《云南省广西壮族自治区建设沿边金融综合改革实验区总体方案》,方案在"促进贸易投资便利化"这一任务安排中提出要"在政策允许、市场成熟的情况下,适时推动个人境外直接投资试点"。在云南省沿边金融改革的大背景下,积极探索境内个人境外投资,有利于拓宽民间资金投资渠道、促进贸易投资便利化,对推动个人境外投资、加快资本项目可兑换进程均具有重要现实意义。

On November 21,2013,the People＇s Bank of China,the State Administration of Foreign Exchangeand other nine ministries issued the General Plan of Yunnan Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to develop finan-cial reform along the border area,which encouraged the residents along the border area to invest in neighbor countries.It is a meaningful policy and will broaden the investment channel of the residents,improve the trade and investmentenvironment,and also promote residents＇ oversea investment and capital convertibility.
