摘要
《毕司沃斯先生的房子》在作品中涉及到政治、文化、历史等丰富的内涵,成为评论者关注的焦点。在该部小说中蕴含着毕司沃斯先生对传统的印度教文化的一种背离与规训的张力之间的一种痛苦的挣扎,渴望摆脱但又无法真正地与之彻底的割裂,造成了毕司沃斯先生先生在看似"疯癫"的状态之下走向一种人生的虚无状态。
《Mr. Bis Voss’s house》has rich contents related to politics, culture and history, which has become the focus of attention of the critics. This novel contains Bis Voss painful struggle between a deviation and discipline of the traditional Hindu culture. Eager to get rid of but unable to truly and completely be separated from, Bis Voss moved toward a nothingness life in the state of seemingly“madness”.
