Medical Disputes and Medical Liability Insurance

医疗纠纷与医患关系恶化是我国医疗领域十分严重的社会问题,而现行治理方式仍局限于医患之间或政府临时介入,导致医疗纠纷急剧增长之势无法有效缓解。因此,有必要借鉴发达国家的经验,建立医疗责任保险机制来改善医患关系,以为全面深化医改创造有利的环境条件。

Medical disputes and the deterioration of doctor-patient relationships are very serious social problems in medical services of China, whereas, the current mode of governance is still confined to doctor-patient relationship or a temporary government intervention. As a result, it cannot effectively relieve the problem of the rapid growth of potential medical disputes. Therefore, it is necessary to refer to the experience of developed countries to establish a mechanism of medical liability insurance, to improve the doctor-patient relationship, then, to create a favorable environment for deepening medical reform comprehensively.
