Survey and Analysis of Schoolmasters' Time Allotment

对全国277名中小学正职校长的调查显示:校长在行政事务上花费了工作时间的45.98%,其后依次是教育教学管理与实践、参加学习和培训、社会事务、教师管理,整体的时间分配不够合理;校长每天工作时间过长,有68.1%的校长每天在校工作时间为9个小时以上。校长需要高度重视时间的分配与使用,将时间作为一个重要的要素和手段来加以研究和重新认识,切实提升履职的效能。

A survey of 277 primary and secondary schoolmasters throughout China by questionnaire shows that the time spent on administrative affairs by schoolmasters accounts for 45.98 percent of their working time, followed by educational administration and practice, participation in learning and training, social affairs, and teacher administration, which is unreasonable in time allotment. Schoolmasters spend too much time on their work and 68.1 percent of schoolmasters spent over nine hours every day on their work in school. Findings seriously warn schoolmasters that they should not just follow their feelings but attach much importance to their allotment and use of time for a higher efficiency.
