摘要
作为专门用途英语(ESP)的一个分支,医学英语要求学习者能准确完整地翻译医学英文文献以供自身学习和提高使用。就医学本科生而言,能够正确处理医学英语专业词汇的英译汉,成为教学的一个重点。结合目前所使用教材,对医学院学生在医学英语专业词汇翻译的方法与技巧培养方面进行探讨,指出掌握构词法知识、结合语境选择释义、注重积累专业词汇、对词汇进行相应医学化翻译和加强专业知识学习,都有助于医学英语翻译水平的提高。
Medical English is a branch of English for Specific Purposes （ESP）,and it requires the learners to translate the English literatures of Medicine correctly and perfectly. For college medical students,how to translate the Medical English technical words into Chinese properly becomes an important objective in Medical English teaching.The cultivation of techniques and skills of technical words translation in Medical English was discussed as illustrated by some examples from the textbook, and this will be helpful to the improvement and practical application of Medical English translation.
