With a number of novels as examples, this paper provides a commentary on the Australian-Chinese literature in the 21st century. First, as we can see, the works have rid themselves of the structure and contents often seen in the Australian-Chinese student writings in the 1990s as they present a wider field of vision. Second, with the expansion of their structure and vision, these works are more profound in their thinking. Third, writers who used to be students now pay more attention to techniques after many years of accumulated life experience, thought sedimentation and artistic tempering, with the result that the literariness of their work is richer. In discussing the transmutation of the"Australian-Chinese student literature", this paper seeks to provide supplementary evidence that the Australian-Chinese literature is a rising"New World".
