In this paper,the process technology,improvement and optimization of equipment and the commissioning operation situations of the newly built double pressurized 270,000 tons / year nitric acid plant are summarized,and the selections of major equipment and catalysts are also described in detail. The commissioning operation conditions show that the main process figures and consumptions have reached or been superior to the design values.
