光泽棘蝇种团一新种（双翅目：蝇科：棘蝇属）

A NEW SPECIES OF PHAONIA NYMPHAEARUM-GROUP （ DIPTERA, MUSCIDAE） FROM CHINA

本文描述蝇科棘蝇属光泽棘蝇种团Phaonia nymphaearum-group下之光泽棘蝇亚种团Phaonia nymphaearum—subgroup一新种：盾光泽棘蝇，新种Phaoniascutula Wu，Donget Wei，sp．nov．新种采自贵州雷公山国家级自然保护区，与分布于四川的回归棘蝇Phaonia redactata Feng，1998近缘。新种的模式标本保存于作者所在单位。

The paper deals with a new species, Phaonia scutula Wu, Dong et Wei, sp. nov. , from Guizhou, China, which is belonging to Phaonia rrymphaearum-group, which related to Phaonia redactata Feng, 1998. The type specimens from Leigongshan, Guizhou, China are deposited in Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of Anshun City, Guizhou 561000, China. Phaonia scutula Wu, Dong et Wei, sp. nov. （Fig. 1） Male adult. Body length about 5.1 mm. The new species related to Phaonia redactata Feng, 1998 but can be separated from the latter by following features： frons wider than in the latter, which clearly wider than anterior ocellus, about as wide as half of distance between outer margin of two posterior ocellus; frontal seta 9 ; parafacial somewhat wider than half of first flagellomer-width; viewed from posterior, scutum with a large and wide black spot, tongue-shaped; Katepisternal setae 1 ： 2; wing with spine developed; calyptera brownish yellow; mid femur with pv row setulae-like, which gradually developed towards apex ; hind femur with 2 developed pv, without p ; abdomen with black middle spot on each of Tgs3 - 4 ; apex of Tg5 and Tg6 reddish brown; genitalia （cercus and surstylus） left lateral view： epandrium longer than wide; cercus flexed almost at right angle; unlobed distally, angular prominent apically; cereus posterior view： apex with arced cut innerly and apically with angular prominent outerly and apical out angular prominent longer than in inner one. Conversely, Phaonia redactata Feng, 1998 with frons narrower, about as wide as anterior ocellus, frontal seta 12, parafacial narrower than half of first flagellomer-width; viewed from posterior, scutum with 4 longitudinal strips, Katepisternal setae 1 ： 3 ; wing with spine undeveloped, calyptera light brown, mid femur with 1 pv at sub-media, hind femur with pv and without p; abdomen with black middle strip on each of tergites 3 - 4, apex of Tg5 and Tg6 black, genitalia （cercus and surstylus） left lateral view： epandrium wider than long; cercus flexed distinctly less than right angle; lobed distally, bluntly rounded apically, inner lobe finger-like with dull apex; surstylus shorter, clearly directed to backwards; cercus posterior view： apex with right angular cut innerly and arced outerly. Etymology The specific name is from the Latin word ＂scut＂ （ = shield） , in reference to the male cereus similar to shield viewed posteriorly.
