右扶风茂陵耿氏事迹考论──关于后汉豪族势力的个案研究

A Survey On The Eventa Concerning The Geng Family In Maoling Of Youfufeng──A Case Study On The wealthy And Influential Family of The Eastern Han Dynasty

与冀州巨鹿耿氏相比较，右扶风茂陵耿氏与其虽然同属一族，但由于其豪族势力的据点不同，所以其成长、发展的方式和特点也各异。以右扶风茂陵为据点的耿氏将发展其豪族势力的舞台设在了边关，而后汉朝廷也恰好借助了这一集团的势力来巩固国家的边防。从耿民第三、四代的事迹动向，可以明显看出这一点。

Abstract: Although they had the same surname, the Geng family in Maoling of Youfufeng grewand developed with a different fashion compared with the Geng family in Julu of Jizhou owing to thefact that they had different strongholds. The Geng family based Maoling of Youfufeng expanded itssphere of influence in the border region and the Eastern Han dynasty just drew support from thisgroup to consolidate its frontier defense, which could be seen from the events concerning the thirdand fourth generations of this family.
