藏传因明典籍丰富,理论完备,历史悠久,传习自成体系。藏汉因明交流对中国因明的传承和发展十分必要,其中,因明典籍的整理和翻译是藏汉因明交流的重要途径。杨化群先生就是从事藏汉因明翻译和研究工作的一位著名的学者,他一生献身于藏汉因明翻译和研究,以"生有涯,而知无涯,以有涯的生命,治无涯的因明学"鼓励和鞭策自己,为藏汉因明交流作出了杰出的贡献。文章从先生坎坷的生平介绍入手,在介绍其因明翻译和研究成就的同时,着重评述先生对藏汉因明交流和发展所作出的贡献。

With a long history, abundant scriptures, books and records as well as well-developed theory, thestudies of Tibetan Tsema has had its own system. It is essential for the inheritance and development of Tsema inChina to undertake exchanges between Tibetan and Han＇s Tsema. Translation is an important way to do exchang-es. Mr.Yang Hua-qun is a famous scholar, who has devoted his life time to the translation and study of Tsema,and made outstanding contribution. This article starts with the introduction Mr.Yang Hua-qun＇s life, then histranslation and research achievements, mainly his extraordinary contribution to the exchange and development ofTibetan and Han＇s Tsema.
