木兰陂位于福建省莆田城南五公里处的木兰溪上,创建于北宋时期,是中国现存最完整和最具代表性的古代水利工程之一。现藏于福建莆田市图书馆的十四家本《木兰陂集》,则是人们了解木兰陂的重要依据。《木兰陂集》收录了历代关于木兰陂的各种文献资料,其主要内容包括《莆阳木兰水利志》与相关序文、传记、书志以及诗词歌赋等,对于木兰陂水利工程及相关文化遗产的保护、利用与研究具有重要参考价值。

Mu Lan Bei,a reservoir located on Mu Lan Xi river,Putian,Fujian province,was built in the Northern Song Dynasty.It is one of the most intact and typical existing ancient water conservancy projects in China.The Annals of Mu Lan Bei,a book collected in Putian Civic Library,is an important evidence for us to know Mu Lan Bei.The Annals of Mu Lan Bei collects a lot of useful materials which include The Annals of Mu Lan and Pu Yang and some relative guide information,biographies,annals and poetries.This book has a great significance on the protection of cultural heritage,which includes the reference value on the settlement and research on ancient document and the research on the history of water conservancy projects,economic history and literary history.At the same time,this book offers some important information on the protection of Mu Lan Bei.
