大众传媒参与生态文明建设责无旁贷。要最大可能发挥大众传媒促进生态文明建设的作用,必须要有清晰的理念定位,即生态喉舌理念、舆论引导理念、绿色责任理念、客观报道理念以及科学传播理念。在具体实践路径上,大众传媒理应加强环境新闻报道、培养民众的生态公民意识,对环境污染企业或相关责任机构进行舆论监督,维护环境弱势群体利益,努力成为他们生态利益的诉求通道,同时,还要有效引导社会舆论,为生态文明建设创造有利的舆论氛围。

The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC puts emphasis on the idea of ecological civilization. In this era, mass media unusually has a large impact, but also can promote and change the social structure under cer- tain conditions. Thus, it is of significance to introduce the mass media as a major force into the construction of eco- logical civilization. It is important for mass media to participate in the construction of ecological civilization. Howev- er, it is necessary to have clear concepts to give full play to the mass media to promote the construction of ecological civilization, which are ecological concept of mouthpiece, public opinion guidance idea, green responsibility idea, concept of objectivity and the concept of science communication. In the specific practice, the mass media should strengthen the environmental news, people cultivate ecological awareness of citizens, environmental pollution liability companies or related institutions of public opinion, the maintenance of environmental interests of ~adnerable groups, and strive to be their ecological interest demands channels. At the same time, it still has to guide public opinion and create a favorable atmosphere for the construction of ecological civilization opinion.
